Our Compliance Standards

The SCHIESSER company has stood for responsibility and contemporary values since 1875. This commitment to responsibility and relevance encompasses, amongst other things, full adherence to and respect for applicable laws.

The journey of a SCHIESSER underwear piece passes through many stages during production. At every step, SCHIESSER places the utmost importance on ensuring that all relevant legal requirements applicable to each individual stage of the production process are observed and upheld.

For this reason, SCHIESSER has incorporated into its Code of Conduct — which applies to all business partners, in particular customers and suppliers — not only its guiding principles for conducting business, but also the standards that must be maintained within the context of any shared business relationship.

The foundations of SCHIESSER's Code of Conduct are drawn not only from national legislation, but also from international conventions, including the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Children's Rights and Business Principles, the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the international labour standards of the International Labour Organization.

SCHIESSER provides employees and business partners — in particular suppliers and customers — with a whistleblowing system.

This system enables the reporting of violations of legal requirements and/or SCHIESSER's compliance regulations within a protected environment. The confidentiality of the reporting individual is fully maintained, and protection against reprisals is guaranteed. A report may be submitted via the following link.
